OverView After four years of work, the project to "open Isis" is finished. Writing some software didn't work out that bad, finding some friends went well, offering the stuff to the inhabitants of planet Isis was next to a complete failure. The Malete team is continuing to build database software inspired by ideas of CDS/ISIS, but completely independent from any recent developments or non-developments within the official "ISIS community". Malete, Selene and future versions of this database use the common label "GNI", meaning GNI is NOT ISIS WE DO NOT CHANGE OR BREAK OR OTHERWISE TOUCH "CDS/ISIS" IN ANY WAY! "CDS/ISIS" IS WHAT YOU GET AT UNESCO! IT IS THAT 16 BIT WINDOWS APP WITH THE 30 BYTE KEYS! OR THAT DOS PROGGY! NOTHING ELSE! WE DO NOT DO ISIS! THIS SOFTWARE HERE IS NOT THE SAME! STAY OUT! Old versions will be available as long as sourceforge is online. We are waiting for volunteers to take care of this domain.
